Remote Pharmacist Subject Matter Expert (Contract)

About the role

This is a remote, hourly contractor position where you will act as a Pharmacist Subject Matter Expert (SME) for an AI data services company. You will review AI‑generated medication responses, create gold‑standard pharmacy content, and provide detailed feedback to improve model safety and accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed prompts and gold‑standard pharmacy responses covering therapeutics, drug information, counseling, and medication safety.
• Evaluate, rank, and compare AI‑generated answers for clinical correctness, clarity, and safety.
• Identify and document errors in pharmacotherapy reasoning, dosing, contraindications, interactions, monitoring, and patient counseling.
• Fact‑check medical and drug information and write clear, evidence‑based explanations.
• Test AI outputs for bias, unsafe recommendations, and reliability across diverse patient populations.

Required profile

• PharmD or BPharm/MPharm with active pharmacist licensure (or eligibility).
• Minimum 5 years of professional pharmacy practice in community, hospital, ambulatory, or similar settings.
• Strong grounding in pharmacology, therapeutics, medication safety, and guideline‑based therapy.
• Excellent attention to detail when fact‑checking drug content and assessing patient safety.
• Fluent English (minimum C1 proficiency).
