Remote Centre L1 Operator

About the role

As a Remote Centre L1 Operator you will be on the front line of real‑time monitoring and operational control for wind farms within the Remote Centre’s scope. You will ensure safe, compliant operations by evaluating alarms, coordinating maintenance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Real‑time monitoring and control of wind farms under Remote Centre scope.
• Evaluation of alarms and anomalies and execution of required actions, including curtailments and emergency stoppages.
• Coordination of on‑site maintenance activities with local teams.
• Remote operation of electrical substations and regular status reviews.
• Contribution to continuous improvement of operations, tools, processes and methodology.
• Detection and reporting of system or process deviations to managers.
• Support stakeholders with root‑cause analysis and other operational analyses.
• Operational validation of IT tools during testing phases.

Required profile

• Technical educational background.
• Knowledge and/or experience in Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) operation processes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Problem‑solving skills with a structured and autonomous work approach.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
• Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2).
