Remote Canadian Tax Analyst (Full‑time)

About the role

StrategCube is seeking a Remote Canadian Tax Analyst to join its finance advisory team. This full‑time position focuses on preparing and reviewing Canadian tax returns, supporting compliance filings, and contributing to tax planning initiatives for both individuals and businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Canadian federal and provincial tax returns for individuals and corporations.
• Support tax compliance filings and ensure timely submission to tax authorities.
• Analyze financial data, interpret tax legislation, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare working papers and documentation for internal and external review.
• Respond to tax‑related inquiries and assist during audits or reviews by tax authorities.
• Collaborate with team members to improve tax processes and reporting accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Canadian tax compliance and preparation.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret tax legislation and financial information.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines remotely.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field; CPA, CA, CMA or similar designation is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial tax laws.
• Familiarity with Canadian tax software tools.
