Remote Biology Lecturer – Short‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a remote Biology Lecturer to design and solve challenging biology problems that test the limits of large language models. This short‑term contract (3 months) offers flexible hours and the opportunity to shape evaluation benchmarks for AI research.

Key responsibilities

• Design and solve biology problems across undergraduate to PhD‑level topics.
• Develop high‑quality, step‑by‑step solutions with rigorous reasoning.
• Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals.
• Contribute to new evaluation benchmarks based on biology curricula.
• Explain biology concepts clearly using simple language, visuals, and simulations.
• Provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations for AI evaluation workflows.

Required profile

• Masters or PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field (or currently pursuing a PhD/Postdoc).
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Creative and lateral thinking with excellent structured communication.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Reliable desktop or laptop with internet connection.
