Registered Pharmacist

About the role

Varsha Medical & General Store is seeking a full‑time Registered Pharmacist to join its retail pharmacy team in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. You will be responsible for dispensing medicines, counseling patients, and ensuring compliance with local pharmacy regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications and verify prescription accuracy.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage inventory, check expiry dates, rotate stock, and organize shelves.
• Support daily store operations and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist license valid with the State Pharmacy Council.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription validation, dosage calculation, and drug interactions.
• Excellent attention to detail, ethical practice, and customer‑focused attitude.
• Good command of English and local languages spoken in Mumbai.
