Registered Nurse – Ward, ICU & Operating Theatre

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality care in ward, intensive care unit and operating theatre environments. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, medication administration, support for daily activities and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individualized patient assessments and develop/re‑assess care plans.
• Prepare and administer medications orally, subcutaneously and via IV, documenting all actions.
• Record vital signs, medical information and nursing interventions accurately.
• Assist patients with basic needs such as dressing, eating, bathing and promote independence.
• Provide wound care, manage surgical drains and support end‑of‑life care across multiple systems.
• Guide patient care assistants in mobilising patients and toileting support.
• Maintain patient dignity and privacy at all times.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Manage nutritional support including RT, PEG and NJ feeding.
• Educate and involve families in best practices for older adult care.
• Initiate emergency measures according to adult resuscitation protocols.
• Document all care information concisely, accurately and promptly.

Required profile

• B.Sc Nursing or GNM with KNC registration.
• Strong clinical judgement and ability to provide nursing care.
• Effective collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑directed learning abilities.
