Regional Supply Chain and Planning Manager

About the role

Metso is seeking a Regional Supply Chain and Planning Manager to lead short‑ to mid‑term demand and capacity alignment across the MEI region. Reporting to the Director of Regional Supply Chain and Planning, you will work closely with sales, business and operations leaders to ensure the supply chain supports growth and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive 0‑6 month planning, maintaining forecast accuracy, bias control and supply‑demand balance.
• Make transparent capacity allocation decisions, balancing service level, cost and inventory.
• Identify and communicate gaps and opportunities such as capacity frees, demand shifts and lead‑time reductions.
• Partner with Sales, Business and Operations leaders to align supply capabilities with commercial priorities.
• Proactively highlight risks (capacity shortages, supply delays, stockouts) and propose mitigation scenarios.
• Execute corrective actions including inventory reallocation, expediting or alternate sourcing.
• Validate short‑term demand feasibility against production, procurement and logistics constraints.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for supply chain execution, e.g., on‑time delivery and forecast accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in demand and capacity planning within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable plans.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams including sales, operations and procurement.
• Proactive risk management and problem‑solving orientation.
