Regional Maintenance Officer – MEP

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Regional Maintenance Officer to be the technical backbone of our fast‑growing cafe chain across India. You will ensure that all electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems – from coffee machines to chillers – run smoothly, preventing downtime and keeping our stores operating at peak performance.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with vendors to guarantee repairs and service level agreements are met.
• Perform on‑site maintenance and repairs of air‑conditioning, chillers, plumbing, furniture and other equipment.
• Act as the primary contact for store teams and external contractors to resolve issues within SLA.
• Conduct first‑line troubleshooting remotely and on‑site to differentiate minor from major faults.
• Execute monthly preventive‑maintenance schedules across all locations.
• Supervise vendor visits to ensure quality workmanship.
• Deliver basic troubleshooting workshops for Area and Store Managers.

Required profile

• Technical diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Air‑conditioning engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in F&B, retail or supermarket environments.
• Proven ability to diagnose and fix equipment such as coffee machines, ice machines, FDUs, chillers, lighting and signage.
• Experience using a ticketing or maintenance tracking system is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently between stores and stay on‑site for urgent repairs.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate between store teams and external contractors.
