Reddit Community Manager & Content Writer

About the role

Threatcop is looking for a Reddit Content Writer & Community Manager to build an authentic, helpful presence on Reddit. The role blends content writing, community engagement, and organic growth strategy while working closely with the SEO/GEO team and subject‑matter experts.

Key responsibilities

• Write clear, well‑researched, non‑promotional Reddit posts and replies on cybersecurity, security awareness, social engineering, AI vishing, and deepfakes.
• Translate approved research and product knowledge into Reddit‑friendly formats such as informational posts, comparisons, AMAs, and discussion threads.
• Identify and map relevant subreddits (InfoSec, IT, risk management, etc.) and monitor ongoing discussions to spot content gaps.
• Manage day‑to‑day responses, build credibility, and maintain transparent brand disclosure in line with Reddit’s self‑promotion rules.
• Follow each subreddit’s specific rules, culture, and moderation expectations.
• Collaborate with the SEO/GEO team and external partner GeoZ to align content with buyer questions and GEO priorities.
• Incorporate performance feedback to refine content and engagement tactics.
• Flag emerging themes, objections, or misconceptions back to marketing and product teams.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in content writing, community management, or social/organic marketing (Reddit experience strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated understanding of Reddit etiquette, tone, and self‑promotion rules.
• Strong writing ability to make technical security topics clear without sounding like marketing copy.
• Interest in or willingness to quickly learn cybersecurity concepts such as phishing, vishing, and deepfakes.
• Self‑starter capable of managing ongoing engagement consistently.
