Recruitment Specialist

About the role

Stats Perform is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to lead freelance hiring and campus recruitment in Chennai. You will combine hands‑on delivery with strategic partnership to meet the company’s talent needs and strengthen its employer brand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for freelancers across Chennai.
• Develop sourcing strategies using job portals, social media, referrals and networking.
• Lead campus hiring initiatives at engineering, arts and science colleges.
• Track and report recruitment metrics such as time‑to‑hire and quality of hire.
• Partner with Operations Managers to align hiring plans with market trends and resource availability.
• Lead and mentor a team of recruiters, acting as the primary contact for operation leaders.
• Drive process improvements to increase recruitment efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with colleges, placement cells and training institutes.
• Ensure diversity hiring initiatives, including gender and regional representation.
• Coordinate interview processes with operations and stakeholders.
• Maintain a talent pipeline for critical freelancer roles.
• Ensure compliance with hiring policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of progressive talent acquisition experience.
• Experience recruiting freelancers or contract talent.
• Familiarity with campus recruitment processes.
• Ability to analyse and report recruitment metrics.
• Strong partnership mindset with operations and business leaders.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion in hiring.
• Basic knowledge of the sports sector is a plus.
