About the role
Dalmia Institute is looking for a dynamic Recruiter to lead end‑to‑end hiring for academic and administrative positions. The role focuses on sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews and onboarding faculty such as Professors, Deans and Directors.
Key responsibilities
- Manage full recruitment cycles for academic and non‑academic roles.
- Source candidates via job portals, professional networks, referrals and academic forums.
- Screen resumes, conduct preliminary interviews and coordinate selection committees.
- Collaborate with Deans, Directors, HODs and other stakeholders to define hiring needs.
- Maintain candidate records in the ATS and report recruitment metrics.
- Support employer branding initiatives and represent the institute at academic events.
- Verify credentials, ensure regulatory compliance and handle offer negotiations and onboarding.
Required profile
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 3–6 years of recruitment experience, preferably in higher education.
- Proven experience hiring Professors, Deans, Directors and other academic leaders.
- Hands‑on experience with an Applicant Tracking System.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills.
- Good understanding of academic qualifications and regulatory requirements.
