Real Estate Lawyer – Nagpur

About the role

Peak Realty India Pvt Ltd is seeking a qualified Lawyer to join its Nagpur office. The role involves providing legal support for land acquisition, development and sales projects, ensuring compliance with real‑estate regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate contracts, sale deeds, MoUs and other legal documents related to real‑estate transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence on properties, verify titles, assess encumbrances and ensure clear land records.
• Liaise with government departments, regulatory bodies and external counsel to obtain approvals, registrations and resolve disputes.
• Advise senior management on legal risks, mitigation strategies and policy changes affecting projects.
• Maintain accurate legal documentation, support internal audits and compliance reviews.

Required profile

• LL.B degree from a recognized institution; LL.M or specialization in real‑estate law is a plus.
• Valid license to practice law in India.
• 3–6 years of experience in real‑estate or infrastructure legal matters.
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of property, real‑estate and land laws, including zoning and registration.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal agreements.
• Proficiency in conducting legal due diligence and title verification.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
