Quantity Surveyor – Residential Construction

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will manage project costs for residential apartment construction, preparing Bill of Quantities, handling client and contractor billing, and ensuring strict cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs from construction drawings and perform quantity take‑offs for RCC, finishing, aluminium/MIVAN shuttering and other works.
• Handle client billing, contractor billing and certify contractor bills.
• Track project costs, maintain budget control and reconcile material consumption.
• Prepare rate analysis, cost estimates and support tendering and subcontractor evaluation.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors and procurement teams to monitor work progress and measurements.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation, using ERP systems such as SAP where applicable.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 4‑6 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, billing and cost control, preferably on high‑rise residential projects.
• Hands‑on experience with RCC, finishing works and aluminium/MIVAN shuttering.
• Proven ability to prepare BOQs, perform rate analysis and manage project budgets.
