Quantity Surveyor Instructor

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor Instructor will join Zeitnah Academy in Kozhikode to deliver full-time, on-site education in quantity surveying. You will guide students through core concepts, industry practices, and emerging trends, helping them become competent professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures on cost control, cost management, and cost planning.
• Prepare and update course materials, including Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost reporting templates.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and practical projects.
• Mentor and support aspiring quantity surveyors throughout their learning journey.
• Stay current with industry developments and integrate new knowledge into the curriculum.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning.
• Hands-on experience with BOQ preparation and Cost Reporting.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven ability to inspire and mentor students.
• Relevant industry experience and a passion for teaching.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
