Quantity Surveyor – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our fast‑growing construction firm in Vellore. The professional will be responsible for accurate quantity take‑offs, cost estimation and billing support across EPC, commercial and high‑rise projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take‑offs from drawings and specifications.
• Develop and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates and cost statements.
• Monitor project costs, support cost‑control measures and analyse variations.
• Assist in preparation and verification of RA bills and final bills.
• Coordinate with site engineers for measurements, progress tracking and material reconciliation.
• Maintain documentation related to quantities, costs and contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 3–10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in preparing BOQs, cost estimation and rate analysis.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and cost management.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
• Familiarity with MS Project or Primavera (preferred).
