Quantity Surveyor (Civil Engineering)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a civil engineering background to join our fast‑growing construction company. The role involves managing quantity take‑offs, cost estimation, billing support and cost control for EPC projects, commercial complexes, power plants and high‑rise buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take‑offs from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates and cost statements.
• Monitor project costs and support cost‑control measures.
• Assist in preparation and verification of RA bills and final bills.
• Coordinate with site engineers for measurements, work progress and variation analysis.
• Analyze variations, extra items and perform rate analysis.
• Maintain documentation related to quantities, costs and contracts.
• Support procurement and material reconciliation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 3–10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Good understanding of BOQ preparation, estimation and rate analysis.
• Knowledge of construction contracts and cost management.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Required skills

• MS Project or Primavera (preferred).
