Quality Engineer – Treasury Tech

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the Treasury Tech squad within ANZ’s Enterprise Finance and Data division in Bengaluru. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability of treasury systems by designing and executing functional and non‑functional tests, while also contributing to small engineering changes.

Key responsibilities

• Validate ETL and data integration workflows across multiple upstream and downstream systems.
• Perform source‑to‑target validation, data reconciliation and data quality testing.
• Validate batch processing workflows and reporting outputs.
• Write and run SQL queries to investigate defects and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with business users, developers and data engineers to resolve data‑related issues.
• Support test environments and report defects to ensure production releases are defect‑free.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Data QA.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Domain knowledge in banking, treasury or finance is a plus.
