Quality Engineer II

About the role

The Quality Engineer II will represent the quality function within technical support, collaborating with internal groups to resolve manufacturing issues. This role focuses on developing quality plans, supporting quoting activities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA plans and process routings reflecting actual activities.
• Support quoting by participating in initial process design, development, and implementation.
• Evaluate and improve inspection processes through aids and guidelines.
• Design and deliver specialized training sessions for relevant functions.
• Maintain documentation files, implement storage and access systems.
• Review supplier and customer discrepancies, coordinate corrective/preventive actions, and provide trend analysis.
• Participate in vendor surveys and assist suppliers with process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, EN4600, and GMP documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to quality engineering staff and act as liaison with customers and suppliers.
• Support corrective actions using SPC data and manage related meetings and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
