Quality Assurance Engineer – Manual & Automation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to lead manual and automated testing across web, mobile and API platforms. The role involves owning end‑to‑end quality for assigned features and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document test plans, test cases and automation scripts based on functional and technical requirements.
• Execute manual and automated tests to validate functionality, usability, API responses and system stability.
• Build, enhance and maintain automation test suites for web, mobile and API platforms.
• Report, track and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring clear communication with developers.
• Perform regression testing and ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and designers to clarify requirements and provide early feedback.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results and QA processes for traceability.
• Improve automation frameworks and leverage AI tools to accelerate test creation and analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of manual and automation testing experience for web, mobile and API applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright (TypeScript) and Appium.
• API testing experience using Postman, Newman or Rest Assured.
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as TypeScript, Java, Python or C#.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
