QA Engineer – Functional & Integration Testing

About the role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our client’s hybrid team in Pune. The role focuses on functional and integration testing of enterprise software products, ensuring high quality releases in both on‑premises and virtualised environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, author and maintain test cases for functional and integration scenarios.
• Execute test suites against deployed software in production‑like environments.
• Document defects with clear, precise descriptions and track them to resolution.
• Maintain formal test execution records and update test documentation as needed.
• Operate within defined testing scopes and raise escalations for out‑of‑scope findings.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of progressive experience in software testing, quality assurance or validation.
• Hands‑on experience with functional and integration testing of enterprise applications.
• Proven ability to run tests on on‑premises or virtualised infrastructure.
• Strong analytical attention to detail and consistent defect reporting.
• Ability to work independently within a defined testing scope.
