Purchase Manager

About the role

As a Purchase Manager within our hotel team, you will lead the development and execution of purchasing strategies that ensure a stable, cost‑effective supply chain. Your work directly supports the hospitality experience by guaranteeing that every guest enjoys high‑quality products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee procurement operations and manage inventory of general merchandise to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Collaborate with the Chef and hotel management to align purchases with hotel specifications and guest needs.
• Select, negotiate with, and manage supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
• Conduct quality control checks on shipments to verify compliance with specifications, grade, and standards.
• Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks such as disruptions, price volatility, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze market trends to anticipate price shifts and inform purchasing decisions.
• Supervise, coach, and develop the purchasing team, fostering a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control and procurement systems.
• Experience with budgeting, cost analysis and performance tracking.
• Familiarity with local procurement regulations, health and safety standards, and sustainability practices.
• Highly organized with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
