Public Relations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Public Relations Specialist to lead our PR initiatives in New Delhi. The role involves crafting compelling narratives, securing media coverage, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to amplify brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
• Draft, edit, and distribute high‑quality press releases, media notes, and other communication materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media agencies across print, digital, television, and online platforms.
• Secure meaningful media coverage through proactive pitching and relationship management.
• Plan and execute product launches, press conferences, media events, brand collaborations, and campaign activations.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Marketing, Brand, Social Media, and Leadership to ensure consistent messaging.
• Monitor media coverage, prepare coverage reports, and track PR campaign performance.
• Identify newsworthy opportunities and develop compelling story angles that enhance brand visibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in public relations, corporate communications or a PR agency.
• Proven experience in writing press releases, media pitches and communication materials.
• Strong network of media contacts across print, digital, television and online publications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project‑management abilities with the capability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and meet tight deadlines.
