About the role

P. D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre is seeking a skilled Public Relations Specialist to strengthen its public image and manage media relations within the healthcare sector. You will design and execute communication strategies that showcase the hospital’s commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement PR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Draft, distribute, and manage press releases and media inquiries.
• Coordinate communication campaigns promoting services, achievements, and health initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create content for newsletters, social media, and other channels.
• Monitor media coverage and public sentiment to refine PR tactics.
• Organize events such as press conferences, seminars, and community outreach programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders.
• Handle crisis communication to mitigate negative publicity.
• Prepare reports and presentations on PR activities for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of PR experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
