Public Relations Executive

About the role

At Optiminastic we are seeking a Public Relations Executive who understands the power of communication, relationships and reputation. The role involves supporting media relations, brand storytelling, PR campaigns and communication initiatives for both our clients and the agency. You will gain hands‑on exposure to how brands build credibility and shape perception.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing PR campaigns and communication strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, influencers and media professionals.
• Draft press releases, media pitches, articles and other communication materials.
• Support media outreach and follow‑up activities to secure coverage opportunities.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on campaign performance.
• Research industry trends, media opportunities and competitor activities.
• Coordinate interviews, events, press interactions and media engagements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
• Internship experience in Public Relations, Media, Communications or a related domain.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
