Propulsion Requirement Verification & Validation Engineer

About the role

As a Propulsion Requirement Verification & Validation Engineer, you will support the full lifecycle of propulsion systems – from concept development through operational deployment and eventual retirement. You will work closely with stakeholders to capture needs, define system boundaries, and ensure that all requirements are met with integrity and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage stakeholders, capture their needs and expectations for verification and testing (V&V).
• Elicit, validate, and manage requirements across the entire system lifecycle.
• Design and define possible system architectures in collaboration with IS/IT specialists.
• Lead modelling, performance analysis, and trade‑off studies to select optimal solutions.
• Validate architectures, define interface requirements, and verify implementation.
• Conduct operational and in‑service evaluations and impact analyses for design change requests.

Required profile

• Professional experience in aerospace or propulsion system development.
• Strong understanding of requirement engineering, system architecture, and verification processes.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
