Project Purchasing Engineer (Full‑time)

About the role

The Engineer / Executive – Project Purchasing will lead component and part development activities, manage new‑part introductions, and drive vendor development for mechanical components, machinery building and sub‑assemblies. You will be responsible for achieving quality, cost and delivery targets while collaborating with central purchasing and material teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage component/part development, new part development (NPD) and vendor development.
• Conduct cost negotiation, zero‑based costing and strategic sourcing.
• Prepare and execute RFQ processes, supplier evaluation and techno‑commercial discussions.
• Lead program and project management for mechanical components, casting, machining and forging parts.
• Ensure quality, cost and delivery targets are met for all assigned projects.
• Represent the organization in new product development (PEP) projects.

Required profile

• Experience in component/part development and vendor management.
• Proven track record in cost negotiation, zero‑based costing and strategic sourcing.
• Hands‑on experience with casting, machining and forging part development.
• Ability to meet quality, cost and delivery objectives.
• Strong communication skills for supplier selection and techno‑commercial discussions.
