Project Manager – Interior Design & Fit-Out

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead interior design and fit‑out projects across commercial, residential, retail, hospitality and workplace sectors. The role involves end‑to‑end delivery, from handover through to final handover, ensuring projects meet scope, budget, quality and timeline expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute interior fit‑out projects, allocating resources and managing procurement.
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress and resolve issues that affect schedule or cost.
• Serve as the primary client contact, provide status updates, manage expectations and handle escalations.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers, site supervisors and contractors, and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and control project budgets, track expenditures, review quotations, variations and invoices to ensure profitability.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, safety regulations and company SOPs, managing quality inspections and snagging.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans and manage changes to minimise impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing interior design and fit‑out projects in a construction environment.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to maintain relationships and communicate progress.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate vendors and contractors.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control and risk management.
• Commitment to quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
