Project Manager – Gas Compressor Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of gas compressors and related control systems from order entry through the warranty period. You will be accountable for scope, schedule, budget and risk, ensuring projects are executed predictably and successfully.

Key responsibilities

• Support regional sales teams during order capture and manage the order entry and transition process.
• Initiate projects with formal kick‑off meetings and take full ownership of scope, budget and schedule in both pre‑order and post‑award phases.
• Interpret contract provisions, keep functional teams informed and ensure compliance with all requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor progress and report status to management and clients.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of Siemens products.
• Create and execute risk‑management plans, mitigating technical and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track project budgets, trigger corrective actions when needed and act as the primary Siemens point of contact for all project communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in oil & gas, heavy‑machinery manufacturing or a similar industrial sector.
• PMP certification is preferred.
