Project Manager – Energy Projects

About the role

Hitachi Energy India Limited is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
• Develop detailed project plans covering scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Secure and allocate project resources such as personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, creating contingency plans as needed.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, senior management, clients, and vendors.
• Track key performance indicators, prepare status reports, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct post‑project reviews and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 8‑10 years of project management experience, preferably in energy or infrastructure.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects from inception to completion.
• PMP or equivalent certification highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.
