Project Management Specialist

About the role

The Project Management Specialist will lead transformer manufacturing projects from order receipt through final delivery and site support. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while serving as the primary liaison for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and track project scope, schedule, and deliverables using MS Project or Primavera.
• Coordinate design, procurement, manufacturing, and testing activities across Design, SCM, Production, QA/QC, and Dispatch teams.
• Act as the single point of contact for customers, handling kick‑off meetings, documentation approvals, inspections, and dispatches.
• Work with commercial and finance teams to issue invoices according to contractual milestones and follow up on payments.
• Provide technical documentation and support to site erection and commissioning teams, and manage the dispatch of accessories and site‑specific materials.
• Identify risks, manage scope changes, and maintain proper documentation of amendments.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, customer‑specific requirements, and relevant project closure protocols.
• Prepare and submit regular internal and external project status reports.

Required profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical preferred).
• 5–10 years of project management experience in transformer or heavy electrical equipment manufacturing.
• Proven experience in site coordination and customer‑facing roles is desirable.
• Strong leadership, planning, and coordination abilities.
