Project Leader – Industrial Substance Substitution

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Project Leader to drive large‑scale substance substitution initiatives across our industrial operations. The role ensures sustainable, safe, and compliant processes while maintaining aircraft performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive a 5‑year industrial roadmap and establish robust deployment strategies.
• Manage complex budgets, headcount forecasts, SLAs and Statements of Work.
• Implement and enforce strict project governance across the entire portfolio.
• Oversee substance substitution projects from qualification through to industrial deployment.
• Lead proactive risk and opportunity management to secure timelines and performance targets.
• Coach and mentor project leaders using Lean PLM and Agile methodologies.
• Lead a transnational network of Local Substance Leaders to ensure consistent deployment.
• Coordinate manufacturing operations and manage handover dossiers for plants and final assembly lines.
• Prioritize employee safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver rigorous KPI reporting with cross‑functional transparency.

Required profile

• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) or Agile certification such as ScrumMaster® is preferred.
• Proven track record of leading and animating transnational, multifunctional teams.
• Strong background in defining, improving, and optimizing processes, methods and tools.
• Extensive experience acting as a strategic interface between senior stakeholders and delivery teams, including supplier and compliance management.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure strict adherence to environmental regulations and substance policies.
