Project Lead – Scrum Master (Digital)

About the role

Airbus India is seeking a Project Lead with Scrum Master experience to join its Digital function in Bangalore. The role will manage day‑to‑day project activities for the DMU Services team, coordinating with local and global engineering groups to ensure successful service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional teams and subcontractors in India to deliver projects on time, within budget and quality standards.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies – sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives – and track progress with appropriate metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement of IT operations, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Manage supplier and vendor relationships, including budgeting and risk mitigation.
• Coach and mentor team members, fostering autonomy, performance management and skill development.

Required profile

• Graduate or post‑graduate with 7+ years of experience in project management, IT operations or service delivery.
• Proven leadership in handling multiple operations teams and delivering complex digital projects.
• Experience as a Scrum Master for at least 2 years, with knowledge of Agile/SAFe practices.
• Familiarity with aerospace domain, especially communication and IT supplier management, is desirable.
