Project Controller

About the role

AFRY is seeking an engaged Project Controller to join its Transportation and Places business unit. Based in Noida, you will support large infrastructure projects in Sweden, working closely with a cross‑border team of controllers in Stockholm and Poznan. This role offers the chance to contribute to financially complex, high‑impact assignments while collaborating with skilled colleagues across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Financial follow‑up and cost control for major infrastructure projects in Sweden.
• Prepare project reporting, monthly closings, budgeting and forecasting.
• Conduct financial analysis to support project decisions and improve profitability.
• Maintain project cost registers, track variances and support invoicing processes.
• Collaborate with project management and cross‑border controllers to enhance financial processes and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience as a controller.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Self‑driven, proactive and able to see the bigger picture.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross‑border team.
