Program Manager – International Business

About the role

upGrad is looking for a Program Manager to own the value proposition, market insights, go‑to‑market strategy and revenue of its international learning programs. You will lead end‑to‑end execution of global courses for working professionals, translating learner needs into compelling program designs.

Key responsibilities

• Gather consumer insights on course preferences, pricing expectations and learning outcomes, and turn them into actionable program specifications.
• Coordinate with marketing, content, admissions and product teams to ensure seamless delivery and resolve cross‑functional dependencies.
• Track financial and operational metrics, support revenue and cost targets, and flag risks or opportunities.
• Monitor program performance, study industry trends and competitor offerings, and recommend enhancements for market relevance.
• Define operational KPIs, monitor milestones, and drive corrective actions to guarantee on‑time, high‑quality delivery and strong learner experience.

Required profile

• Graduate or post‑graduate with a strong academic background.
• 3+ years of experience in program management, product, strategy or growth roles.
• Consumer‑first mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
• Proven track record of driving cross‑functional initiatives and stakeholder alignment.
• Prior exposure to education or consulting is a plus.
• High bias for action, ownership and willingness to relocate to Mumbai.
