Professor/Associate Professor – School of Advanced Engineering

About the role

The School of Advanced Engineering seeks a dynamic Professor or Associate Professor to lead teaching, research, and academic service at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The successful candidate will shape curricula, mentor students, and foster industry collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality courses using innovative pedagogies and digital tools.
• Design lesson plans, assignments, assessments and evaluate student performance.
• Conduct high‑impact research, publish in reputable journals, and secure research grants.
• Supervise Ph.D., M.Tech. and master’s students and guide their dissertations, theses and projects.
• Mentor students for academic, career and personal development, including placement support.
• Develop and revise curricula aligned with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
• Participate in departmental committees, academic planning, accreditation activities and policy implementation.
• Build and maintain collaborations with industry, research organisations and academic partners, organising workshops, seminars and guest lectures.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from a reputed institution.
• 10–15 years of academic and research experience.
• Proven record of funded research projects, high‑quality publications and doctoral supervision.
• Demonstrated academic leadership and research mentoring abilities.
