Production Planner (Manufacturing)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Production Planner to join Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI) in Bengaluru. You will be responsible for aligning production volumes with capacity, ensuring timely delivery of parts, and supporting key production KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute production schedules, balancing capacity, raw‑material availability, and engineering change requests.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of parts according to customer schedules and required quantities.
• Monitor plan vs. actual performance and support achievement of production KPIs.
• Coordinate with project planning teams to manage engineering change requests within allocated capacity.
• Calculate supermarket stock levels for each leveling period and maintain optimal warehouse inventory.
• Escalate deviations in production planning processes according to the escalation matrix.
• Act as the primary escalation point for production planning and material coverage issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
• Collaborate with customer order planning, capacity planning, product planning, raw‑material planning, and technical functions to ensure smooth production under Bosch Production Systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning or a related manufacturing role.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP MM, SAP PP, and SAP APO modules.
• Experience with production planning, leveling, Kanban, demand planning, and forecasting.
• Understanding of inventory management and logistics processes.
