Production Manager

About the role

Morni, a tech‑enabled fashion brand based in Jaipur, is seeking a Production Manager to lead and scale its garment production system. Reporting to the founders, you will coordinate designers, tailors, pattern masters and vendors to ensure every piece is produced on time, to quality standards and with full documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Track all active orders, manage production timelines and coordinate schedules across tailors, pattern masters, embroiderers and finishing teams.
• Identify bottlenecks early, follow up relentlessly and ensure deadlines are met.
• Develop, maintain and improve SOPs, production tracking tools (Airtable, Notion) and other AI‑driven workflows.
• Conduct quality reviews, oversee reworks, and guarantee garments meet Morni standards before dispatch.
• Manage inventory of fabrics, trims and other materials, ensuring smooth flow in and out of the facility.
• Maintain clear communication across internal teams and external vendors, providing visibility and accountability.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in garment production, operations or manufacturing.
• Strong organisational and multi‑project management abilities.
• Proactive problem‑solver who creates structure and owns outcomes without prompting.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with artisan clusters.
