Production Executive – Hindi Original Series & Movies

About the role

Amazon Studios is seeking a senior Production Executive in Mumbai to lead production strategy and execution for Hindi‑language original series (scripted and unscripted) and movies across India. The role combines deep production expertise with strategic budget management and strong industry relationships to shape standards and drive excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive production strategy for high‑complexity projects, influencing territory expansion and resource allocation.
• Negotiate and approve budgets, analyze cost structures, and identify efficiency opportunities in partnership with Finance and Business Affairs.
• Collaborate with Creative, Legal, Business Affairs, and Operations teams to ensure end‑to‑end production excellence.
• Mentor Production Managers and Coordinators, raising performance standards across the team.
• Establish scalable production workflows, governance frameworks, and risk‑mitigation processes.
• Represent Production in cross‑functional forums and strategic planning sessions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a producer, production manager, line producer, or similar senior production role.
• Deep knowledge of Hindi‑language market dynamics and strong relationships with top‑tier producers.
• Ability to influence senior leadership, studio executives, and creative partners.
• Track record of managing multi‑territory deals and above‑the‑line negotiations.
• Strong mentorship and team‑development capabilities.
