Production Executive – Ethnic Wear

About the role

The Production Executive – Ethnic Wear will manage end‑to‑end production activities for ethnic apparel, ensuring timely delivery and high‑quality output that meets brand standards. This full‑time, on‑site role is based in the Greater Kolkata Area and requires close collaboration with designers, suppliers, factory staff and the internal operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with designers and suppliers to translate collections into production plans.
• Source and manage fabrics, trims, and other raw materials.
• Supervise tailoring, stitching, finishing and other garment‑making processes.
• Maintain production schedules, monitor inventory levels and control costs.
• Implement and monitor quality‑control standards at each production stage.
• Optimize resources, ensure safety compliance and resolve production bottlenecks.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of ethnic wear production processes, including fabric selection, pattern cutting, stitching and finishing.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling and vendor coordination.
• Ability to enforce quality‑control standards and manage inventory.
• Effective communication skills for working with diverse on‑site teams.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in ethnic wear, apparel manufacturing or the textile industry is highly beneficial.
• Diploma or degree in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, Garment Production or a related field preferred.
