Product Owner – Software (Bangalore)

About the role

We are looking for a Product Owner – Software to lead the vision, strategy and delivery of software solutions for our Business Division in Bangalore. You will act as the primary liaison between development teams and global product managers, ensuring that product backlogs align with business goals and customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision and strategy in partnership with Global Product Managers.
• Collaborate with global Product Owners and cross‑functional teams to prioritize and maintain a healthy product backlog.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, bug triage and retrospectives.
• Plan and coordinate product releases, defining scope, Program Increment plans and ensuring timely delivery.
• Engage users and domain experts from backlog creation through acceptance testing.
• Assess value, develop business cases and prioritize stories, epics and themes.
• Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Computer Science or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in large‑scale software product development.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner.
• Hands‑on experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle, from requirements to deployment.

Required skills

• DevOps practices and automated deployment pipelines.
• Proficiency with Ansible scripting.
• Cloud synchronization and related technologies.
• Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies.
• Product backlog management and release planning.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
