Product Owner – Banking & Payments

About the role

Capco is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of fraud prevention and financial crime solutions for its banking and payments clients in India. The role will involve shaping product strategy, managing backlogs, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams across Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap and backlog from discovery through implementation and optimisation.
• Conduct requirements analysis, process mapping, and write user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Prioritise features using data and operational insights to drive effective control‑design decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and communicate progress to senior executives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in banking, payments, fintech or financial services, with a background as a Product Owner, Senior Business Analyst or Product Manager.
• Strong domain knowledge in fraud prevention, AML, KYC/CDD/EDD, or related financial‑crime areas.
• Proven ability to manage product backlogs and drive delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment.
