Product Manager - Technical (Software Engineering)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Technical Product Manager to bridge product management and software engineering teams. You will be responsible for capturing, clarifying and documenting requirements while supporting agile delivery of platform features.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers to elicit and refine requirements.
• Document requirements clearly in Aha! and Jira.
• Participate in Agile or Scaled‑Agile ceremonies and support the engineering team.
• Facilitate discussions, decision‑making and conflict resolution to ensure precise specifications.
• Maintain product backlogs, assist Scrum Masters, TPMs and Product Owners.
• Own the “working backwards” documentation and vision for feature releases.
• Identify gaps, conduct research, user studies and competitive analysis to shape platform road‑maps.
• Use runtime metrics to inform backlog prioritisation and trade‑off decisions.
