Product Manager On‑Ramp & Swap

About the role

Tether is looking for a Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of buying and swapping USDT and XAUT in the Tether Wallet. You will work across product, payments and partnership teams to turn a fragmented global payments landscape into a seamless in‑app experience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the roadmap for fiat on‑ramps, card payments, local payment methods and token‑to‑token swaps.
• Collaborate with expansion teams to map payment methods, card schemes, bank rails and regulatory constraints in each target market.
• Evaluate, select and onboard on‑ramp or swap partners, coordinating legal, compliance and commercial terms.
• Translate partner APIs into product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering and design.
• Design routing logic that selects the optimal partner based on country, currency, amount and price.
• Define and track KPIs (conversion, approval rates, KYC drop‑off, cost, volume) and use data to optimise performance and partner management.

Required profile

• 5+ years product management experience in banking, payments or FinTech.
• 3+ years experience in DeFi or crypto product management.
• Strong understanding of crypto wallets, token swaps, DEX aggregators and on‑chain flows.
• Deep knowledge of global payment systems, Visa/Mastercard, 3‑D Secure, chargebacks and local methods such as bank transfers, instant rails and mobile money.
• Hands‑on experience integrating fiat on‑ramp/off‑ramp providers and third‑party payment gateways.
• Proven track record of evaluating, onboarding and managing external partners.
• Working knowledge of KYC/AML requirements and data‑driven KPI management.
