Product Manager – Next‑Gen Defence Decision‑Support

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of a next‑generation decision‑support platform for defence and national‑security users. The role sits within Chanakya, Sarvam’s dedicated AI vertical, and will shape products that are deployed in highly sensitive, air‑gapped environments across India.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and translate complex requirements from senior institutional users into product specifications.
• Design, prototype, and iterate AI‑driven solutions, including model selection, fine‑tuning, and custom data representations.
• Oversee end‑to‑end delivery, from architecture and customization to deployment and on‑site client support.
• Travel to client sites on short notice to validate solutions and ensure operational readiness.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience building AI‑first products from concept to launch.
• Hands‑on prototyping mindset with ability to deliver rough versions quickly for user feedback.
• Comfort with ambiguity, restricted environments, and frequent travel across India.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with senior decision‑makers in defence and regulatory sectors.
