Product Development Manager – Prepaid Management Services

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a seasoned Product Development Manager to lead the delivery of API‑centric initiatives for its Prepaid Management Services platform. You will act as the Product Owner within a SAFe Agile framework, translating business objectives into high‑quality, scalable platform capabilities that serve travel, transit, gifting, and BNPL segments worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end delivery of API product roadmap items from concept to customer readiness.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and business goals.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, and cross‑functional teams to build robust, developer‑friendly APIs.
• Support product integration, testing, and release activities within the SAFe Agile cadence.
• Enable go‑to‑market readiness through developer enablement, documentation, onboarding, and internal training.
• Serve as the platform specialist, providing technical guidance to internal teams and external clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience in API‑first product development or platform product management, preferably in payments or fintech.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed, global environment with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong background in Agile methodologies, especially SAFe.
