About the role
ABB is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join its Process Automation business in Bangalore, India. The role supports the BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division by managing purchasing and logistics activities that enable the business to run leaner and cleaner.
Key responsibilities
- Execute purchasing and logistics strategies to optimise cost, quality and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
- Design and implement local sourcing plans to meet business targets and future requirements.
- Support the implementation of effective sourcing strategies in line with overall business strategy.
- Apply ABB procurement standards, tools and processes to ensure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
Required profile
- Engineering graduate with 3‑6 years of relevant experience.
- Clear understanding of ABB customers’ needs and expectations.
- Proactive attitude towards personal development and learning.

- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Outlook
- Knowledge of SAP (advantage)
