Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join NPOWA SOLUTIONS remotely on a full‑time basis. You will support our clients’ supply chain operations by managing purchase orders, processing invoices, and coordinating with suppliers and freight forwarders to secure optimal terms and timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Create, monitor, and update purchase orders in internal systems.
• Process supplier invoices and verify compliance with international trade regulations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, handle proof‑of‑delivery notifications, and ensure accurate shipment documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date data on order status, track‑and‑trace information, and post‑calculation of transports.
• Support risk‑management and continuity planning to minimise supply‑chain disruptions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to identify cost‑saving opportunities and streamline processes.

Required profile

• Strong background in procurement and supply‑chain activities, including purchase‑order processing and supplier relationship management.
• Experience with logistics tasks such as shipment instruction preparation, track‑and‑trace, and transport cost calculations.
• Competence in documentation, invoice checking, and international trade compliance.
• Ability to support risk‑management initiatives and maintain high service levels (SLAs/KPIs).
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English; comfortable working in a remote, multicultural environment.
• Relevant education in supply‑chain management, logistics, business or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
