Procurement Representative – Equipment Category

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Representative to join our Direct Equipment Procurement team in Pune. You will support the Equipment category, driving Total Delivered Cost sourcing initiatives and collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and apply Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing tools and processes to execute sourcing initiatives.
• Partner with business units and engage suppliers to evaluate tail‑spend equipment requests and obtain pricing.
• Assist sales teams by addressing supplier, market, material, and service queries and suggest alternative suppliers when appropriate.
• Communicate updates and progress to internal stakeholders effectively.
• Work with the master data team to approve necessary pricing changes.
• Escalate equipment requests to the category manager based on volume and supplier mix.
• Manage critical steps of the procure‑to‑pay process to ensure efficiency.
• Coordinate with supply planning and other functions on purchasing requests, ensuring compliance with service‑level agreements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, master data, shared services, finance, or supply‑chain operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a problem‑solving mindset.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to work both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
