Procurement Executive – Construction Materials

About the role

Lakshmi Prasanna Constructions is looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Procurement Executive to lead end‑to‑end purchasing for its civil construction projects. The role focuses on sourcing and procuring a wide range of materials and services for residential, commercial and infrastructure works across Goa.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and onboard suppliers, subcontractors and service providers for construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, ready‑mix concrete, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and finishing items.
• Maintain an approved vendor database, conduct vendor assessments, factory audits and site inspections.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties and contractual conditions while aligning with project budgets.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders, Work Orders and Service Agreements; draft and administer supplier, subcontractor, labor and equipment rental contracts.
• Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and payment processing.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, quantity surveyors and planning teams to capture procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor contract compliance, vendor performance and resolve supply‑chain bottlenecks.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, GST regulations and contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Currently based in Goa.
• Proven experience in procurement for civil construction projects.
• Background in marketing and vendor management within the Goa market.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a focus on cost optimisation.
