Procurement Analyst (Entry Level)

About the role

Flex is looking for an Analyst – Procurement to join its Chennai team. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end purchase order processing and supporting the supply chain in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage C‑class items procurement activities across the full purchasing cycle (PR to PO, PO issuance, confirmation, delivery follow‑up, and supplier payment coordination).
• Coordinate with vendors to track material delivery status and resolve receiving challenges.
• Prepare and maintain Open Purchase Order and Shortage reports for review.
• Execute pull‑in, push‑out, and cancellation actions based on MRP reports to meet KPI targets.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels according to site requirements.
• Collaborate with internal business partners and suppliers on PO changes.
• Maintain the supplier database and handle shortage/excess escalations.
• Manage urgent receipts, past‑due items, and related follow‑up activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or B.Com/B.B.A/B.Sc/MBA.
• 0‑2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain (not mandatory).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
